Current Vacancies- Veterinary Epidemiologist

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary epidemiologist to join our world-renowned group working in the fields of equine disease epidemiology, surveillance and clinical research.
Equine Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance is a core discipline at the AHT, integrated in multidisciplinary research programmes in both infectious and non-infectious diseases of horses, with collaboration encouraged with a wide range of clinical and basic science disciplines.
Applicants should have a veterinary degree, post-graduate qualification in epidemiology, and good inter-personal skills. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- have proven skills in project management
- be self motivated but have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- assist in progressing the equine epidemiology research programme through competitive grant funding
- strengthen and extend collaborations with other AHT disciplines as well as national and international groups
Ideally we seek experienced applicants at post-doctoral level although consideration will be given to highly motivated individuals who wish to develop their skills through further training in applied epidemiology and biostatistics in order to benefit the health and welfare horses.
