We are seeking a highly motivated and organised HR/Payroll/Pension Systems Manager to join our friendly HR team in this busy and varied role. Acting as the AHT’s HR systems specialist you will be expected to deliver automated HR services, via self-service, including the in-house monthly payroll, PAYE and all pensions’ administration.
Reporting to the Director of HR, you will provide both the technical and systems knowledge to deliver automated HR services including a full end-to-end payroll pension process by ensuring the software is configured for optimum reporting and functionality.
Utilising your payroll and pensions’ knowledge you will manage the in house monthly payroll for approximately 300 people. Be responsible for statutory and tax requirements relating to pensions, payroll and employee benefits. Provide support and guidance to the HR team and employees regarding pension, payroll and benefit related queries.
Ideally the role requires both DC and DB pension scheme knowledge, dealing with auto enrolment and end to end payroll management including RTI. You will need to be a team player demonstrating excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills. Ideally hold a relevant professional qualification and have approximately 5 years’ experience in both payroll and pensions management. Strong systems experience and reporting writing skills are also essential for this role. Knowledge of Access HR software would be desirable.
