Permanent or Locum: full-time/part-time
Sadly, one of our colleagues has decided to return to her native country and we are seeking a Board-certified or Board-eligible radiologist (or equivalent) to join our friendly imaging team.
The successful applicant will join two other Board-certified radiologists, one Board-eligible radiologist, three residents, a CT radiographer and a radiography nurse. All imaging facilities are available on site, including 1.5T MRI, 16-slice CT, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography and scintigraphy. Please note that extensive prior experience with MRI (low or high field) is not necessary as we have a very good system for mentoring and support and an excellent track record with exam success.
Although a permanent, full-time post is on offer we will also consider alternatives such as locum cover for any duration and part-time working.
The starting salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications. The AHT offers an excellent work-life balance; our remuneration package includes an excellent pension scheme with USS (University Superannuation Scheme). We also provide life assurance of three times the salary, a considerable holiday allowance of 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, an employee health plan worth £850 per annum, an employee assistance scheme and generous CPD allowance, plus time off for clinical research.
