Knowledge Transfer and Commercialisation Officer
Permanent full time, 35 hours per week
£25,000- £28,000 dependent on relevant knowledge and skills
The Animal Health Trust is a leading veterinary research institute and registered Charity with the prime purpose of promoting the cause of animal welfare through veterinary research, together with advanced clinical and educational commitment. We are located in a beautiful location just four miles from Newmarket.
The Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Research Management Office to develop knowledge exchange activities. The successful candidate will be required to work with researchers across the Trust to support knowledge exchange activities and be involved in the early stages of commercialization of research, as well as to liaise externally with potential partners and collaborators.
A thorough understanding of the scientific research undertaken by the Trust, and the ability to identify and investigate commercial opportunities arising from research is essential, with the successful applicant providing full support through to successful exploitation. Applicants require a degree in a scientific subject, with relevant experience in scientific knowledge exchange activities, and proven experience of developing collaborative working relationships.
