Laura studied veterinary nursing at The Royal Veterinary College, UK, where she qualified in 2010. She then worked in first opinion practice and as an emergency nurse in an out-of-hours clinic. She joined The Animal Health Trust as a ward nurse in 2015. In 2016 she successfully completed her ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing. During her time as a ward nurse she developed a keen interest in Ophthalmology and joined the team as an Ophthalmology Nurse in 2017.
Outside of work Laura enjoys traveling, walking and spending time with her husband and two beautiful black hand reared cats Bob and Jay.
The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity, based in Suffolk, which offers clinical referral services and diagnostic testing for horses, dogs and cats in East Anglia, across the UK and internationally. Through its research programmes it develops new diagnostic tests, treatments and vaccines to help thousands of animals.
