Andrea Lorek qualified from Cambridge Veterinary School in 2011 and started a rotating internship at Dick White Referrals soon afterwards. After completion of the internship she worked in small animal first opinion practice until starting as an imaging locum at the AHT in June 2015. She became a resident in diagnostic imaging in October 2015.
Andrea Lorek also holds a PhD in physics and has always been fascinated by diagnostic imaging as a way of ‘looking inside’ animals to investigate their problems.
The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity, based in Suffolk, which offers clinical referral services and diagnostic testing for horses, dogs and cats in East Anglia, across the UK and internationally. Through its research programmes it develops new diagnostic tests, treatments and vaccines to help thousands of animals.
