Daniela graduated from the University of Milan in 1998. She completed a rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and an ECVS approved Residency at the Small Animal Surgery department of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich where she worked until June 2007 as Senior Clinician and Lecturer.
In 2006 Daniela became an ECVS Boarded Surgeon. She worked as Specialist Surgeon in two large Veterinary Referral Hospitals in Italy from 2007 until 2010.
2010 Daniela joined the Animal Health Trust (AHT) as Senior Clinician in Soft Tissue Surgery and was the Head of the Soft Tissue Surgery Unit from 2012 to 2014.
She got the recognition by the RCVS in Small Animal Surgery (Soft Tissue) in March 2014.
From November 2014 until April 2015 she worked in Hong Kong as Specialist Soft Tissue Surgeon to re-join the Surgery Team of the AHT in September 2015.
Daniela main areas of interest are Thoracic Surgery, Oncologic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urinary Incontinence and Interventional Radiology for which she is training at the AMC (Animal Medical Center in New York).
Daniela is lecturer of Soft Tissue Surgery courses recognised by the European School of Postgraduate Veterinary Studies (ESVPS) and Speaker at National and International congresses.
She is an active Member of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) and Member of the ECVS Credential Committee.
