Lorenzo graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine of Milan in October 2010. He spent eight months working in a general practice in Italy during which he developed his strong interest in veterinary neurology and neurosurgery. To continue his training, Lorenzo moved to the UK were he completed a ten-week externship, followed by a one-year general internship programme at the VRCC Veterinary Referrals in Essex. He returned to Italy for few months before joining the Animal Health Trust in October 2013 as an Intern in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity, based in Suffolk, which offers clinical referral services and diagnostic testing for horses, dogs and cats in East Anglia, across the UK and internationally. Through its research programmes it develops new diagnostic tests, treatments and vaccines to help thousands of animals.
