Maria qualified from the University Bologna, Italy, in March 2013, while already working as an intern since two years at the anaesthesia department in the same University Hospital. Her final dissertation was an experimental thesis entitled: “Target Controlled Infusion (TCI) of Propofol: from Human to Veterinary Medicine with application in dog” and was presented at a national conference in Italy.
Six months after the graduation she left the anaesthesia department of Bologna University and moved back to her hometown Milan, where she worked in general practice. In September 2014 she started working in Uk as a locum and had the opportunity to work in different general practice in Birmingham area. Maria joined the Trust in February 2015.
In her spare time she likes cooking, going to the gym and having dinner with friends.
The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity, based in Suffolk, which offers clinical referral services and diagnostic testing for horses, dogs and cats in East Anglia, across the UK and internationally. Through its research programmes it develops new diagnostic tests, treatments and vaccines to help thousands of animals.
