Naomi gained a Higher National Diploma in Equine Management in 2000, spending her industrial year placement in the USA. Following a further 12 months as a groom, she worked in a mixed veterinary practice in South Yorkshire, completing her training and qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2005.
She then moved to Newmarket and worked at Rossdales Equine Hospital for two years as an equine nurse. In 2007 she returned to small animal nursing at a local first opinion practice, until joining the AHT in March 2012. Naomi achieved her Equine Veterinary Nursing qualification in 2015.
The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity, based in Suffolk, which offers clinical referral services and diagnostic testing for horses, dogs and cats in East Anglia, across the UK and internationally. Through its research programmes it develops new diagnostic tests, treatments and vaccines to help thousands of animals.
