Yordan qualified from Santiago de Compostela University in Spain in 2010. After performing a 12-month rotating internship at the same university, he moved to the UK in order to pursue further education. After 18 months in general practice he undertook a one-year rotating internship at the AHT’s Small Animal Centre. Upon completion of the internship, Yordan spent some time as a locum, before returning to the AHT to begin a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine in December 2014.
Yordan is interested in all aspects of Small Animal Internal Medicine but his research focus is endocrinology.

The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity, based in Suffolk, which offers clinical referral services and diagnostic testing for horses, dogs and cats in East Anglia, across the UK and internationally. Through its research programmes it develops new diagnostic tests, treatments and vaccines to help thousands of animals.
