Library Services

LibraryOne of the AHT’s main charitable objectives is the advancement of veterinary teaching and practice. As well as providing veterinary surgeons with opportunities for postgraduate education and training in a research environment, the AHT aims to communicate its findings to the veterinary and scientific professions generally. It also provides courses and support for professional veterinary surgeons in practice and those who have responsibility for the welfare of animals.

The Animal Health Trust’s Harris Library is available for use by veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and students studying animal health and others who may need to use a library in a particular subject area from time to time.
