Miss Annamaria Nagy DVM MRCVS

Annamaria Nagy qualified in 2004 in Budapest, Hungary. She completed an internship at Dubai Equine Hospital followed by a second equine internship at the Animal Health Trust. She spent some time working in an equine ambulatory practice in Lincolnshire. Annamaria recently completed a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship (Residency) in Equine Orthopaedics and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Bristol. Annamaria’s main clinical interests are lameness diagnosis and diagnostic imaging.

Annamaria has been involved in clinical research in the field of equine diagnostic imaging and endurance horses. The results of the studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international congresses.

Annamaria competed in show-jumping as a young rider at National Championship level in Hungary. She developed a keen interest in endurance horses during her internship in Dubai and now spends many weekends vetting at endurance rides.
