FREE CPD for the YOUNG VET NETWORK in conjuction with the BVA


We would like to invite you to join us for a bi-monthly programme of CPD seminars at the AHT, exclusively for YVN members of the BVA, from March to December 2008. These seminars are open to all YVN BVA members and are free of charge. You are very welcome to attend as many of these seminars as you like. However, as we will be providing a light buffet meal, we are simply requesting that you let us know in advance if you intend to come along so that we can estimate the numbers we need to cater for.

Food will be served from 6.45-7.30pm, to allow socializing, and time for arrival.
Seminars will start at 7.30pm prompt.
There will be 35 minutes of presentation, with 10 minutes for questions.
Tea and coffee will be available at 8.15 pm
There will be a further presentation for 35 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions.
Talks will finish at 9.15pm.
A discount will be available on drinks served at the Bell Public House, 5 minutes walk, 1 minutes drive from the Animal Health Trust, should delegates wish to continue socializing. Parking is available there.
On the day of the practical, coffee will be served at 9.15am. A short lecture will be given at 9.30 am. Practicals will
then commence at 10.15 am, and finish at 12.00 midday. Lunch will be provided following this. Delegates should bring overalls to the practical session. Aprons and gloves will be provided.
Seminars and practical sessions are restricted to 40 and 8 delegates respectively. Please book your place early to avoid disappointment.
