DNA Test for Juvenile Hereditary Cataract in Boston Terriers
The Animal Health Trust proudly announces the launch of a DNA test for Juvenile Hereditary Cataract in Boston Terriers. This test was developed in the Genetics Department of the Animal Health Trust by a team led by Dr Cathryn Mellersh.
The test for Juvenile Hereditary Cataract is carried out on swab samples, available free of charge from the Animal Health Trust (details below).
This test requires cheek swabs, available free of charge from the Animal Health Trust. Samples for testing should be sent, together with a completed DNA Testing form and payment of £65 inc VAT (cheque or credit card) for each sample, to Genetic Services, Animal Health Trust, Lanwades Park, Kentford, Newmarket, Suffolk CB8 7UU.
