EHV-1 abortion
As of 25th March 2011 Réseau d’Epidémio-Surveillance en Pathologie Equine (RESPE) has reported a case of EHV-1 abortion in an 18 year old mare of unknown breed in Hérault, France. EHV-1 was confirmed by PCR on fetal tissues. There are 27 horses on the premises and so far no other cases have been reported as affected.
