The ‘Breaking the Strangles Hold’ campaign has already managed to raise well over £100,000 since it’s launch in February 2007, but still desperately needs your support to reach the £250,000 goal.

Hold a fundraising event! We will happily provide you with resources and materials to raise funds towards the campaign and awareness of this dreadful disease.

Purchase the Passion for Horses 2009 calendar, which is available to buy now. This features exclusive artwork by equine photographer Marie Bushill, including images of The Princess Royal with her horse and jockey Lester Piggott riding the legendary Desert Orchid.

Buy a special ‘Breaking the Strangles Hold’ polo shirt by Puffa. The clothing company have teamed up with the campaign and designed a range of tops in various colours especially for the cause. They will donate £2 for every shirt sold.

Hold a collection box at your place of work, riding school or veterinary practice.

Buy an individual Strangles pin badge to wear on your jacket, blazer, shirt… or anywhere you like! They only cost £1 each. Every little helps!

The campaign aims to reach the target by early 2009.
