Customer Service Assistant
Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)
The Animal Health Trust is a leading charity dedicated to the improvement of animal health and welfare through veterinary research, together with high quality clinical services and a commitment to education. The Trust comprises of the Centre for Small Animal Studies, Centre for Equine Studies and Centre for Preventive Medicine.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to join our canine laboratory team acting as “front of house” for our DNA testing service, which provides DNA and parentage testing to veterinary professionals as well as private dog owners and breeders.
As the team’s Customer Service Assistant you will be the main point of contact for customers; coordinating their orders, resolving queries over the phone or by email and assisting them in using the web shop. Other administrative duties will include preparing reports and as well as receiving new samples and sending out swab kits.
The successful applicant should enjoy dealing with customers, primarily over the phone, and have previous experience of operating within a customer service environment. Good IT skills and experience of using Microsoft WORD and EXCEL are also essential.
