The Animal Health Trust is a leading charity dedicated to the improvement of animal health and welfare through veterinary research, together with high quality clinical services and a commitment to education. The Trust comprises of the Centre for Small Animal Studies, Centre for Equine Studies and Centre for Preventive Medicine.
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Administrator to join the Canine DNA laboratory within Genetic Services, which provides canine DNA tests and parentage testing to veterinary professionals, individual dog owners and breeders.
The successful applicant, who will report to the Head of Canine Genetics, will provide sample data entry and tracking of DNA samples, participate in all aspects of the data management processes, liaise with dog owners and veterinarians regarding samples submitted for research, provide sample handling and undertake basic molecular biology techniques.
