Post-Doctoral Research Scientist

Salary: Up to £30,600 per annum

3 years fixed term, full-time (35 hours per week)

We are currently seeking a post-doctoral scientist, for a 3 year fixed term position based at the Animal Health Trust, to work on a project to understand the genetic basis of fractures in Thoroughbreds using induced pluripotent stem cells.

A PhD in molecular/cell biology is required. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good molecular biology skills, including cell culture are essential. Previous experience in stem cell culture and/or RNA sequencing analysis would be an advantage.
