5000km for Tuppins' 5th Birthday

Tuppins

Tuppins was a dear family member and much loved friend, who tragically passed away from canine osteosarcoma before her 4th birthday. To raise money for research into canine cancer, her owner Jess brought together a group of dog owners and lovers, and set a target of walking 4000km by what would have been Tupps’ 4th birthday (17 June 2019).

Not only did the group walk a tremendous 4820km in just 7 weeks, they also raised over £1000 in memory of Tupps!

From organised walks to fetes with beautiful crafts, Dachshund themed cupcakes and fun competitions galore, the team put in a phenomenal effort fundraising and building awareness of our extensive research into cancer in dogs.

This year, to commemorate what would have been Tuppins’ 5th birthday, the group are planning to walk 5000km between 14 February and Tupps’ birthday (17 June 2020), while raising money for our research.

Everyone is invited to get involved, so what’re you waiting for? More details can be found on the Facebook page below.
