Matthew Scott

Veterinary Physiotherapist, Small Animal

Matt works closely with our well established hydrotherapy team and is a registered member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and is listed on the Animal Health Professions Register (AHPR)

Our physiotherapy service can help patients suffering from a variety of neurological and orthopaedic conditions, hospitalised surgical and non-surgical patients, as well those suffering from osteoarthritis (OA).  It can also provide performance enhancement for athletic and working dogs.

Matt joined the AHT in the summer of 2017 after qualifying from Harper Adams University. During the placement year of his degree, he spent 6 months working at an equine rehab yard and 6 months working at the RVC’s Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. It was during his time at the RVC that he discovered his passion for using physiotherapy in the rehabilitation of pets with neurological and orthopaedic conditions within a referral hospital setting. Matt is also a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP).
