EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Oncology. Sara is involved in genetic studies to look for biomarkers of metastatic behaviour in canine mast cell tumours and evaluating treatment of oral malignant melanoma in dogs.

Biography

Sara graduated at the University of Milan in 2006. Soon after she started a one year Internship in both clinical and surgical oncology in an Oncologic Referral Centre near Milan, followed by 6 months training in medical oncology in a Referral Clinic in Naples. After having spent 18 months in general practice, she joined the Animal Health Trust as a Fellow in Internal Medicine and Oncology in January 2010. At the end of October 2010 she became a Resident in Small Animal Oncology. In September 2011 she also started a Master’s degree in Clinical Oncology in Birmingham University.
