Internal Medicine

Our Small Animal Internal Medicine Department provides a full clinical referral service in feline and canine medicine.

We accept referrals in endocrinology, haematology, immunology, gastroenterology, pancreas and liver disease, pulmonology, urology/nephrology and infectious diseases.

What we offer:

  • We have a fully equipped Endoscopy suite with both flexible and rigid endoscopic equipment.
  • Through our videoendoscopes we are able to digitally capture and view images during diagnostic procedures.
  • We are one of only a few centres in the UK to offer radioiodine therapy for the treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats. Please see our information sheets on hyperthyroidism below.
  • In an effort to reduce inappropriate antibiotic use, we’re committed to using antibiotics responsibly. Please download the notes from our recent rational use of antibiotics CPD morning below.
